The Jamsil Baseball Stadium is located in the southern part of Seoul, serving as one of the country’s major sporting arenas. It’s home to two professional baseball teams, the LG Twins and Doosan Bears, which are a part of the Korean Baseball Organisation.
Housed in the Seoul Sports Complex, the baseball park can house up to 25,000 people at once and was Korea’s first baseball stadium when it opened in 1982. Enter through one of the 59 entrances at the three-story-high venue and experience one of Korea’s most beloved sports, which takes place every day except Monday during baseball season.
It’s also possible to visit the nearby Seoul Olympic Stadium that played host to iconic baseball events during the 1988 Summer Olympics. You’ll also have access to the Auxiliary Stadium, Jamsil Gymnasium, Jamsil Swimming Pools and Jamsil Inline Skating Rink.
