Things to do in Jamsil-dong
Lotte World Tower soars over Jamsil-dong and houses one of the city’s biggest shopping malls. The tower moonlights as a family-friendly entertainment precinct where you can skate on an indoor ice rink, explore an interactive 3D art space and ride a monorail to a lush urban park. Visit the Lotte World Folk Museum to learn about local history, culture and traditions.
Get your adrenaline pumping on the indoor bungee jump or climb aboard the haunted house ride. At 500 metres high, Seoul Sky observation deck is one of the tallest in Korea. From the top, you can enjoy panoramic views over the city. Lotte World Tower Concert Hall hosts classical music performances by local and international acts.
Watch the legendary LG Twins and Doosan Bears hit home runs at Jamsil Baseball Stadium. A former Summer Olympics venue, the stadium is enormous and boasts state-of-the-art features. With a capacity for more than 25,000 fans, the atmosphere is electric on game nights.
Seokchon Lake Park is a tranquil oasis filled with cherry blossom trees. Stroll along the picturesque paths and stop on Café Street for ginseng tea and sweet pastries. Getting around Jamsil-dong
Jamsil-dong is pedestrian-friendly and easy to get around on foot. The neighbourhood is serviced by several Seoul Subway stations, including Jamsil, Sports Complex and Seokchon. Incheon International Airport is a one-hour drive away.
