Things to do

See miniature versions of some of the world’s most iconic landmarks at the Aiins World theme park. Get up close to intricately crafted replicas of the Empire State Building and the Eiffel Tower, as well as the Great Wall of China and the snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Bucheon is also home to the Pureun Arboretum, which features more than 2,000 plant species in its themed gardens. Wander through the British and French gardens, get lost in the Maze Garden, then soak up one of the Nine Scenic Views of Guro while walking along the adjacent Hang-dong Railway Track.

Step into the world of South Korean comics at the Korea Manhwa Museum, which showcases the country’s history of cartoon and comic art since the turn of the 20th century. Explore the interactive exhibits and get your own caricature drawn, then experience Korean comics in 4D at the on-site cinema.

Spend a day at the Woongjin Playdoci Waterdoci, which not only boasts South Korea’s largest driving range, but also the country’s first indoor skiing centre. This futuristic theme park includes a state-of-the-art wave pool and exhilarating water slides, as well as a Western-style spa.

Getting around

Bucheon is a 30-minute train ride from the centre of Seoul and just over an hour from Incheon International Airport. It’s connected to the Seoul Subway System and is serviced by an extensive network of buses.
