Copley Square is located in the centre of Boston’s Back Bay neighbourhood, which is a hub of shopping and dining. Named after painter John Singleton Copley, Copley Square is a popular meeting point for creatives and artisans, including local farmers selling produce, artists showcasing their works and live performers entertaining crowds of locals and visitors.

You can also marvel at the late-Modernist architecture of the John Hancock Tower, the tallest building in New England, before admiring the Romanesque-Revival style of the circa-1877 Trinity Church.

Getting around Copley Square
Copley Square is about 2.5 kilometres from the centre of Boston and sits across the street from the Copley light rail station. You can drive to Copley Square in 15 minutes from Boston Logan International Airport.
