My name is Rosemary, I'm the owner and host of 52 Clichy, an award-winning Bed & Breakfast apartment ranked in the Top 5 of all properties in Central Paris. I've lived in France for over 20 years and have created a warm, welcoming environment within the smart, comfortable top floor apartment that I'm looking forward to sharing with you. The Bed & Breakfast that is shared with me is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment, my part is separated from yours and we share the large living space. Whilst the other space is a bedroom, sofa bed and 1.5 bathrooms. Together we can share a bottle of wine in the evening and chat about your adventures and each morning share a delicious breakfast, on the balcony or at the dining table, prepared for you at whatever time you want – 5am if your departure flight is early or late if jet-lag hits…! Breakfast: Each morning it will be different, you will be served a plate of fruits and always 5 different choices of freshly baked breads and pastries from the amazing bakery we are lucky to have not more than 20 metres from our door, Maison Landemaine. There will also be home-made yogurt and a choice of honeys and homemade jams. The coffee will arrive in a French press, your chosen tea in my amazing teapot and hot chocolate and organic fruit juices. All manner of dietary requirements can also be catered for including a coeliac, gluten-free or vegan breakfast if I have a little warning. Breakfast is also when we can chat about your plans for the day, if you need suggestions on how best to fit everything in, a great restaurant for when you emerge starving from a museum, a walking itinerary, the best way to get to the Eiffel Tower or a day trip out of Paris, or perhaps just chatting about how you can best 'live like a local'. Beds: the super-kingsize bed is super-comfortable as the 10cm/4″ deep mattress topper is made of goose down. Reviews confirm that people don’t want to get out! When twin beds are needed the beds are pushed against each wall which offers more space in which to move around. Everywhere there are lots of shelves and wardrobe hanging space if you want to unpack rather than live out of a suitcase and the ensuite bathroom includes a full bath with shower over it. In France toilets are separate. Your private space is comfortable but it is not often where you will spend your time, the advantage of the B&B is that everything you see in the photos is yours to use and enjoy, the luxury of an apartment with the added advantage of sharing with me - private concierge / tour planner as your host! I’m English so you don’t need to worry about speaking French unless you want to but having lived in Paris for 20 years let me show you how to live like a local and experience the real Paris.
