The Pocmont is a not a resort. They have alot of nerve to call it that. It's not even as nice as some roadside motels! Here are the problems I encountered: 1. Absolutely no coffee available whatsoever, either complimentary or for purchase, from 9:30am-noon. 2. Staff is rude and nasty. 3. Room: tiny, dirty, no refrigerator, no microwave, shower was two feet wide, walls paper thin (could clearly hear the conversation of the people next door and they were not even talking loudly), air conditioner on a thermostat which kept us awake every time it would noisily turn on and off. 4. No real restaurant on premises, only a dining room which served either a buffet or four choices of dinner. Only two choices of times to eat (5:00pm and 6:30pm). 5. Pool overrun with screaming, ill-behaved children, and people sleeping and snoring all over the lounge chairs. 6. No cell phone service on the property. Had to drive twenty miles away to get service. 7. Internet kiosk was so slow that it ate up all my money before even landing on the right page to check my email and my time ran out. 8. Only phone available cost $ per minute. 9. Staff seems very defensive and angry, even when asked questions very politely (I noticed this not just with myself but with other hotel guests as well.) 10. They allow children to roughhouse, run, and play football in the pool. 11. I have stayed in nicer places on the side of the road in Atlantic City that cost $ per night. At least they offer coffee!

This is one of those good, "old-fashion" Pocono Resorts. (and recently remodeled). There are LOTS and LOTS of activities for the family at this resort. Indoor and outdoor pools, archery, miniature golf, rifle range, hiking trails with varying intensity, walking trails, volleyball, game room, BINGO twice a day, Karaoke, bands, comedians, ice cream social, Happy Hour, paddle boats, etc, etc.We didn't have time to do everything! Bushkill Falls is right down the street. Outlet shopping is a 30 minute drive.

This was an interesting place to stay. We were in one of the hillside cottages, which was clean, but very small. The shower was tiny, with hardly any room to move around! Not a place I would stay more than one night. There was no coffee maker in the room and the complimentary coffee in the lobby tasted like it was instant. I thought there was no hairdryer, but found it the next morning in a bag on a shelf. Also, upon reading a brochure we picked up in the lobby, it appears that breakfast and dinner was included in the price of the room, but no one ever mentioned this and we didn't see it mentioned on the website. Had we known, we would not have driven 15 minutes to find a place to eat dinner. The only real bonus to staying here was its locatiion to Bushkill Falls, which is definitely worth a visit.

Stayed at Pocmont for a quick overnight after skiing all day. The room was comfortable and the staff was very friendly. The indoor pool, jacuzzi, and sauna were wonderful. We didn't do the meal plan so we never had a chance to eat in the restaurant. The lounge was nice and our kids enjoyed the karaoke. They even had entertainment in the ballroom which we didn't see. One drawback--We went down for breakfast on Sunday morning at 9:30 am and the restaurant was already closed! In all of our travels, I have never seen a restaurant shut down that early on a Sunday morning. We had to go off site and drive to a Perkins 15 minutes away.
