Adjoining rooms, large bathroom area. Smelled, difficult check-in, staff disagreed with me regarding different things, did not feel comfortable being a traveler alone with my kids. Not very good.

The pool was a little smaller than I thought but the water was clean and the temp.was perfect. The hot tub was frothing for some reason but it cleared up a couple of hours later.I didn't like that check in was 4p.m. but the fellow did say we could use the pool when we arrived at 1 pm which was considerate. The check out at noon was just right. The breakfast was extremely good and the make your own waffles was a blast. The crew running the breakfast are to be commended for their wor .Bravo! A woman working the front desk from the midwest was very nice and helpful. To sum up I was very happy with all things(of course I would have liked it a little cheaper, but that just being frugal). This property never missed a step. Let me just say what came out of my mouth to my wife upon departing,"Wow.everything was just perfect!" I hope they keep with it I would love to go back and enjoy their hospitality once again. Thanks fellow vagabonds.

Stayed over 1 night for tour de Palm Springs bike ride. Room was spotless. Pool and spa enjoyed by all. Close to downtown, but no traffic noise; very quiet.

Good value for money. It's a big motel with 3 storey building. It could be noisy on the front side and amenities far if you are on back side. Location is good, near to Palm Springs downtown and rooms are clean. Swimming pool is small and could get crowded. Continental breakfast is excellent.

The hotel was located close to all the things that we went to see. That there were no ice machines on any floors, only one at the pool. Very nice and the staff was very friendly.

The air conditioning did not work. It states that if the temperature outside is 65 or more, there will be air conditioning. It was 75 degrees and more the other days and I called the front desk. They said that they would call maintanence. I called them back in hour later and the front desk said she was too busy to call maintanence. Many people had to leave their doors open to get some air because the outside was cooler then inside the room. The room felt like it was 100 degrees. There is no internet at all. Also, when I had to check out, the front desk was not there and I had to wait for 10 minutes. The only plus side is that they had nice premium channels.

Someone had thrown up on the carpet in the 1st room they gave me, & the next rm's door wouldn't lock;you had to fight to get in/out.'60s decor, weird staff. Bkfast STALE CEREAL! Teensy room, fairly clean, A/C worked well in spite of everything else. Whatta joke--never again! Anyplace but this one!

Hotel was located within walking distance of many downtown shops and restaurants. Good complimentary breakfast provided by the pool in the morning. The only negative thing was that the gardeners arrived at 6:30 in the morning with leaf blowers, hedge trimmers, lawnmowers, etc. I heard of several guest who were disgruntled by being awakened at that early hour of the morning, me and my son included. Several phone calls were made to the front desk, but the gardeners stayed.

It was ok just ok. The room had a smell and was dark. The Vagabond Inn in Palm Springs is in a great location. Central to down town areas. It is also pet friendly. So if you don’t mind the outdated furnishings and general darkness of the rooms it is reasonable on the high side. It is an ok place to stay.

Hotel was clean, although trickey to find at night when we arrived. 60s decor was cool, close to restaurants and bars. The pool was very relaxing. I would stay again a good value.

I had pleasant experience staying at this hotel.

This was the quietest hotel in this price range that we have ever stayed at. The only drawback is that is is a bit hard to find...behind the Best Western. We got lost and had to call to get directions. Other than that, it was a great value. Will stay there again.

This hotel is reasonably priced and extremely family friendly. Kids are pretty much allowed to run rampant with no adult supervision. The rooms are clean but small. Sheets do not fit the mattress. I would recommend asking for a ground floor room or one on the 2nd floor at most. Water pressure on the 3rd floor is very low. The toilets take several minutes to refill when you flush. The flow from the shower isn't really enough to wash off the soap. The elevator is slow and crowded with 2 people in it. If you have a family of four, plan on 2 elevator trips each time or climbing a lot of stairs. Check-in was quick and efficient. On checkout, they shove a postcard at you pointing out that you are a loser for booking on Orbitz even though the room is the same and price was better than booking direct. We are in Palm Springs frequently, and while this room and hotel are adequate for 1-2 nights, I would place them about lower middle of the pack.

We had no trouble finding the hotel and it is in a good location for getting to the airport and exploring the city. The check-in gal was very friendly and helpful on directions to various places. The quality of the rooms was very good and very comfortable for the moderate price of a 1 night stay. We would definitely stay here again.
