We were able to walk to Chinatown, Yaletown, and Robson shopping district and walk to the ferry to Granville Island. The breakfast buffet was good though a bit crowded and slow one morning. The rooom was clean and the beds nice. They had a great fitness area for the family; ping pong and foosball, in addition to the usual fitness equipment.

Staff was very friendly. Ten minute walk from Granville St. Some great bars and clubs in that area. Close to Stanley park. Bill, the shuttle driver is a great guy. He knows his stuff and is very punctual.

The Hampton Inn & Suites Downtown Vancouver is very comfortable and has a great buffet breakfast included..Hotel parking was a bit expensive ($12) but maybe that's the norm for downtown parking and it was very convenient to be able to walk to our concert at GM Place. Excellent fitness/games room with hot tub & sauna upstairs that no one was using. The downstairs restaurant was very under-staffed for a busy, pre-concert Sat. night...The king size bed was very comfortable..Would definately stay here again!

The rooms have a small kitchenette (microwave, sink, and refrigerator), which was great for this nursing mom! The room size was excellent and the staff provided a travel crib for our 4 month old, already set up in the room when we arrived, so we didn't have to lug ours along. The continental breakfast every morning was good and provided variety for all tasted. The location right next to BC place would be excellent for sporting events, and all the Robson Street shops and restaurants were a quick and pleasant walk.

My wife and I stayed at this Hampton Inn prior to our Alaska Cruise. The Hampton Inn & Suites Downtown Vancouver was perfect and here are some examples: Most comfortable hotel bed we have experienced. We learned the beds were just recently replaced. Extremely courteous & helpful hotel staff. Awesome complimentary continental breakfast. Free shuttle to the ship. Robson Street (hotel location) is a main shopping thoroughfare so it was convenient to walk to shopping and dining.

The Hampton Inn & Suites Downtown Vancouver was great & roomy -- got the suite which was well worth the money. The location was super, within walking distance of many restaurants & Yaletown, plus being on Robstown, in a great shopping district. Would stay there again.
