The service was great, the decor was the nicest we've seen at any hotel we've stayed before, and the location was super convenient to downtown. The room was clean, and the bed was amazing. It's really hard to find good beds, but it was a good one. (We had a king size bed). We had a problem with the shower curtain staying shut, but we dealt with it. Not a huge deal, but we had to use up all of our towels to wipe up the water that overflowed.

The hotel was clean and quiet. The rep at the counter did not greet me whenI arrived.

The hotel was clean and quiet and had plenty of restaurants nearby. It was nice having the pool because there wasn't too much to do in the area.

This was the highlight of our trip. I have 4 kids, so finding a hotel to meet our needs fully is a challenge. Here, we had our needs met so well that stayed an extra night. The breakfast was satisfying. We stayed in a room with two queen beds and a hideaway couch. The all day coffee, cookies and milk were also a plus. All this for a great rate. I would stay again in a heartbeat, and likely will when going to the sites there.

We had a wonderful short stay at Country Inn and Suites. The rooms were clean and quite. Breakfast was adequate. Staff was friendly and thoughtful. I accidently left my flip-flops in the room when we'd checked out, and they were very quick to track me down before I left the premise to return them back to me. We will definitely stay there again.

"Our group had 4 rooms. They were clean and comfortable. We've stayed here a couple of times and both times the elevator broke during our stay. The exercise equipment was in poor repair and most not functioning by the end of the stay. If elevator and exercise are not important the rooms, breakfast area and staff were great."

This was a short visit for us, but a perfect location for our college visit to W & L. For our evening meal we ate at the Applebee's across the street. And at the hotel we had a quick contentintal breakfast in the hotel. The breakfast set up was very complete with fruit, pancakes, coffee, oatmeal, & cereal.

"Nice, convenient location near I-81; good customer service, great breakfast. About 5 min. from downtown Lexington. Pool was not too inviting, but otherwise a very nice overnight stay."

Clean and quiet. There were not enough blankets and the air conditioner was on when we got there even though it 40 degrees outside. Overall very nice.

"The room was very clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, the pool was clean and warm and the breakfast was good and there was a nice selection. I will plan on coming to this location in the future to visit my son who has relocated to Lexington from Ohio!"

Country Inn & Suites was a nice hotel - clean, friendly and accomodating. We were looking for a 1 bedroom suite hotel to spend the night in when taking our son to college. We prefer those kinds of rooms for privacy for ourselves and our kids - two TVs and separate sleeping quarters. Country Inn & Suites was the only suite hotel that was reasonably priced in the area. The continental breakfast included was nice because it had a waffle maker which the kids loved. I would reccommend this hotel.

The room was starkly clean. Couldn't believe the great accommodations for such a low cost. Great place to stay when visiting historic Lexington. Includes pool, Jacuzzi, breakfast, and free internet use. Every amenity you could want in the room. Located near the strip but a short drive downtown.

"My family and kids stayed there one night while on the road. Good service. Good suite rooms with micro and fridge and fold out bed. Good complementary breakfast. Typical chain family restaurants immediately available, but nearby downtown has a few nice shops and eateries to consider. Would definitely consider staying there again."

Our room was nice. The beds were comfortable. We had a good night's sleep. However, there were some areas which could stand some improvement. The only light in the bathroom was a very dim single fluorescent tube. When going into the bathroom after sitting in the bedroom, the bathroom seemed very dark, even at night. Also, as with other hotels built to this same standard, sound carries from everywhere -- the hallway, outside, and the floor above. It is hard to sleep late in the morning because of all the early morning door slams and cleaning cart noise. Finally, while the night shift folks were friendly, the morning shift was a different story. One of the employees was sitting in a chair out front, smoking. The desk clerk on duty was busy doing something somewhere other than at the desk on two different occasions about 20 minutes apart that morning. The front desk phone rang repeatedly with no one coming out to answer it. When I checked out, I rang the bell and it still took another minute or so before the clerk came out. When she did come out, she acted as if it was a bother to her that someone interrupted whatever it was she was doing. This was a very different experience than we've had at other Country Inn & Suites hotels, where all of the staff members were always courteous and friendly.

Very clean and room & bathroom were quite spacious. Traffic on main road very loud on front of building. Excellent stay, rooms were clean and spacious. I will ask for a room on the back side of the hotel next time, as traffic on the front was very loud in the early a.m. I will definately stay here again as we have a son in college in Buena Vista, VA. and will come here frequently.
