The apartments are very well situated for the town centre and the local tescos around the corner is very handy, there was a bit of a smell in the apartments when we first arrived slightly stale, possibly the last person was smoking out of the window. I would definatly stay there again though.

Good value for moneyStudio apartment was lovely and cosy. Over all very happy with the service and quality. Fantastic location. Didn't use the fridge, as it had a strong smell of fish/sea food (which may have been from previous guests). Would be great if check out time was a little later. Car parking was arranged at an extra cost but was an open air car park which was slightly concerning. Over all....happy....would recommend and stay again! Thank you.

Ideal locationThe location is very central, the flat is very clean and trendy.Only bad points are the noise and the lack of hot water on arrival.

Good (but make sure you go to the right address)Enjoyed my stay. Very convenient for New Street. Only hick-up was in using the postcode at the bottom of the confirmation letter, and ending up at the administrative office rather that the accommodation -only 5 mins apart but make sure you use the right address to avoid an extra walk.

intermittent wi-fiWhen I arrived there was a power cut, but a chap came round an gave me my keys, at midnight. Very helpful. But the wifi was very intermittent. I was on a business trip, and needed the internet, which wasn't available for half the time I was there. It was one of the mail reasons I booked the apartment. The room was a bit on the small side too

great locationFantastic weekend, helped by good weather. Roof terrace was well used by us, and very pleasant. Room was adequate size, well equiped and nicely decorated, though 3 lightbulbs had not been replaced or checked and the tables and shelf were very ricketty. Apart from this, would use it again, as it was an excellent location for canal bars, restaurants and SHOPPING at the Bull Ring.

overall a nice place, could do with a few repairs, although nothing that will prevent you enjoying your stay, bedrooms were lovely with good storage, living area smelt a bit stale, but i think that is due to former guests smoking out of the window, had a brief encounter with staff, and they were friendly, helpful and pleasent.very good location and tesco is less than a minutes walk away. along with plenty of other food outlets and shopping area.also cash points close by, and the place felt secure.free wifi a bonus,

Great location. Keys not in box. A wait at the end of a tiring journey before I could get into room. Facilities very good except bathroom which had a damp smell and needs refurb. Staff very friendly and responded straight away to requests for help. Would recommmend and stay again.

these apartments are centrally located and within easy access of all local amenities. My apartment was a studio, and i do prefer a one bedroomed apartment, but on the whole it was very nice. the room was furnished very well and it was much cosier than the sister apartments at Shaftesbury House, which i found a little sparse and echoey. i have to say the bed was by far one of the comfiest i have ever slept on! all in all i was very happy with my apartment, but perhaps would chose a one bedroomed place next time.

I liked this accommodation. Could do withreplacing a few cracked tiles in the bathroom and maintenance on the extractor fan which was noisy. Also a teatowel and dishcloth. Otherwise nicely appointed, clean, comfortable, quiet. I would certainly stay here again and recommend it to others.

I fully recommend this apartment, although had problems with the entry code provided for the building!..i had to be let in by the cleaner not sure if this may have caused problems for those who wish to arrive outside the office hours!...The shower was heaven! however had problems with hot water after we used the dishwasher, we were not able to have a shower as the water was stone cold....however i would return again it was clean and a home away from home, i would pay the extra and stay in the superior apartment as i think one of the studio ones would have been claustophobic for me...nice touch with the tea and coffee... the kitchen had eveything i needed to cook a lovely meal for my family and it was seperate from bedroom and living area which was great..loads of local ammenities superdrug two minutes away etc.... car parking abit far based at the other apartments Shaftesbury house which was abit of a hassale.

Excellent spacious and modern apartment with all the facilities you would need. For the money it was much better value than staying in a hotel.

Excellent accomodation very comfortable and great size for a Studio. Excellent location just beside New Street for the shops and near enough to Broad St and the Arcadian to walk. Would recommend to anyone.

Room smelt of damp. Sizeable bug ran past me on the bed one evening. Windows looked out onto alleyway below, and office block less than 10 metres away from my bed.Management Response\r\nWe thank you for your review and would like to make the following comments.\r\nAll apartments are fully serviced, cleaned and aired before each check in. Studio apartments are open plan spaces to include kitchen, whereas the larger apartments have separate kitchens where cooking smells can be contained and extracted. Bathrooms do have extractor fans to ensure any humidity is removed. \r\n\r\nWe take pest control very seriously and have since have had this apartment professionally checked but have not discovered any evidence of bugs.\r\n\r\nBennettâs Hill is a very central location in Birmingham and with any city centre location there are neighbouring buildings.\r\nWe do welcome the feedback and continually use it to improve guest comfort in our Serviced Apartments.

Accommodation would have scored higher but our first apartment had a leak in the roof and we had to be moved. We enjoyed the roof garden, shame about the weather.
