My wife and I thought this B&B was excellent value for money, clean, nice decor, best breakfast we've ever had in a B&B.

I had a splendid stay. By far the best I have had in North East. This place could teach posh hotels a thing or two.

Top class service and accommodationOne of the best b&b's I have ever stayed in. June and Linda were very welcoming and provided a map of the area and advice on where to find somewhere to eat dinner. The room was lovely - well decorated, clean and a good size.Breakfast was cooked fresh to order, and the selection of breakfast cereals was good too.I will definitely stay here again if I am back South Shields.

Liked it a lot, good locationGood spot five minutes walk into town in one direction and five minutes to sea front in the other, easy to find travelling into the area by car. For visiting Newcastle-upon-Tyne it's ideal, saved quite a bit of cash vs. staying in a chain hotel and this place was much better value! Train service into central Newcastle took twenty minutes and in my opinion it's worth staying in the suburbs instead of the city centre to save your money! Place was clean, nice room, good breakfast and hot shower. Liked the free wireless internet too.

Good for business useA nice friendly clean B & B. My room was a bit small but larger ones were available for £5 extra. Only stayed one night so not a problem. Wi-Fi access is grat for the business traveller checking e-mails. Decent breakfast.Plenty of eating places close by on Ocean road.

Booked here to visit Newcastle city centre and save some cash on the central hotels. Liked the quiet residential area yet still central for the town, easy to get into the city centre. No problems parking and getting a spot at the B&B, they were happy to allow arrival outside the normal stated hours when I rang up to ask, thought it was a very good value room for the price.

Very nice people, the only bad thing i woud say about this b&b is that the room was very small.Nice food

Nice people, convenient place to stay. Room was small but fine for the money, although it did smell of cigarette smoke. I had some problems connectiing to the wireless network - but didn't have time to sort it out as I arrived fairly late and left fairly early the next morning. I am sure that this was an easy fix though.

The provision of wi-fi internet was really useful and I received much-needed assistance from the staff in configuring my laptop. Very small but adequate single room, but no complaints given the price. Excellent breakfast.

I had a very comfortable stay and would definitely stay here again, itwas very friendly. The room was nice and clean and breakfast was verytasty. They have free WiFi and there was no charge for using my creditcard either. I would recommend this B&B.
