Palmlea Farms Lodge & Bures (Villas), Fiji’s first eco-agritourism B&B resort overlooking the Great Sea Reef, 18 minutes from Labasa Airport. Complimentary airport transfers for all guests.

New one and two bedroom Guest Bures (Villas) provide Deluxe accommodations. The resort is limited to 12 guests. New ocean view Bures (Villas) are set amongst coconut palms and beautiful tropical gardens with a natural bird sanctuary along the waterfront. Our Fijian-style Bures (Villas) come with queen or king-sized beds, private bath, fan, fully screened and a large shaded covered verandah with stunning ocean view.

Stroll down to our boat jetty, take a dip in the protected lagoon or adventure along the shoreline in a two person kayak or take a dip and exercise in our 25mt swimming lap-pool that is 2 swimming lanes wide. Sun yourself or lounge in the shade of thatched Palapas (umbrellas) around the pool. Palmlea’s eco agritourism theme offers an alternative to escape the crowd, something extra from the usual sun, surf and sand offered by most commercial resorts.

There are many nature trails and one and only Great Sea Reef, the third longest continuous barrier reef system in the world. It’s mountainous spine divides Vanua Levu Island into the west rainforest of the south coast and the sunny hillsides of the north shore. Our hills and mountains offer walkers hikes short and long. The magnificent stars at night are free. Explore the rivers and foreshore by kayak or row boat. Enjoy a picnic and swimming at our secluded private golden sand beach only accessible by guests of the resort. The beach is reachable only bywater 3 minutes by boat from our jetty. Row yourself or let us drop you off by motorboat. Our guests are offered an active and healthy lifestyle in touch with the sea and land, but with all the modern comforts and amenities.

Palmlea’s Lodge’s fully licensed restaurant offers fine food for all tastes, European, Fijian, Indian and includes Mexican, Mediterranean and Asian specialties. Vegetarians catered for. Farm Fresh fruit, vegetables and herbs come from our own organic gardens with up to date eco-minded farming techniques. Our fish is caught by local north shore fishermen in waters abundant with Fiji’s finest fish. Our bar is stocked with icy cold beer, selected wines and spirits for your pleasure. We want your farm-stay at Palmlea Farms to be memorable and that you will come back often. Joe and Julie, world sailors & travelers, have your comfort as their priority. These two captains have logged more than 60,000 nautical miles. They began their global blue water cruising from Fiji in 1992. They sailed back into Savusavu from the Mediterranean in 2004, dropped the hook and sold the yacht to create this superb eco hideaway. It’s yours to enjoy with them, so enjoy!

The farms - Palmlea Lodge & Bures is part of Palmlea Farms. The Eco-Agritourism oceanside farm encompasses 40 acres of fertile meadows & mountain land. Palmlea Farms organically grows tropical fruits, vegetables and herbs for use in the Lodge Restaurant. The Farm operates a Boer Goat farm specializing in the breeding and development of the famous Boer Goat. Originally from South Africa and imported from Australia this goat is considered to be the finest & largest meat goat in the world. Lodge Guests are encouraged to explore this eco-agritourism Farm
