The buses are clearly marked for Santa Fe, and journeys take around 45 minutes. Another convenient way to reach Santa Fe is via the Ruta Verde or “Green Route” from the historic district. This bus operates from Metro Balderas to Santa Fe and is stress-free and reasonably priced. Taxis and Uber are readily available throughout the area.

The sub-district of Santa Fe was developed in the 1990s. The area was a former junkyard which has been transformed into a burgeoning business district.
