The award-winning Metro Toronto Convention Centre is one of Canada's premier entertainment, lifestyle and business venues. It features seven exhibit halls across over 40,000 square metres.
The centre has been welcoming guests since 1984, when the building was formally opened by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. In addition to trade shows, conferences and galas, the centre is a popular venue for public events. Over the decades, the John W. H. Bassett Theatre has hosted high-profile events, such as the NHL Awards, “Canadian Idol” competition and “So You Think You Can Dance” Canada auditions.
From the Interior Design Show to the Gourmet Food & Wine Expo, the Metro Toronto Convention Centre places a big focus on lifestyle events. Thanks to its central location, the Metro Toronto Convention Centre is within walking distance of cafes, bars, restaurants and nightlife along Front Street and in Toronto's buzzing Entertainment District.
