Surrounded by wineries and orchards at the base of the North Cascade Mountain range, Lake Chelan is a boater’s paradise with stunning scenery. The lake weaves 80 kilometers through Washington’s Lake Chelan State Park and offers an unbeatable location for water sports, hiking, cycling, and fishing.
Spend the day exploring the pristine waters by boat, kayak or canoe or get adventurous with water-skiing, jet-skiing or parasailing. There are plenty of sandy beaches and shallow lagoons perfect for swimming, such as Don Morse Park, Lakeside Pak, and Willow Point Park. After a day on the water, enjoy a meal in one of the quaint restaurants in Historic Downtown Chelan.
If you’re looking for romance, follow the Manson Scenic Loop through the hillsides above Mason Village on the north bank of Lake Chelan. The landscape is dotted with boutique breweries, distilleries, and wineries, including award-winning Silvara Vineyards, which boasts a hilltop tasting room.
