The largest convention and entertainment complex in north-east South Carolina, the Florence Center was previously known as Florence Civic Center until a rebranding in 2018. The venue spans almost 7,000 square metres and seats up to 10,000 people in its main arena.
Available spaces for functions include a large ballroom, junior ballroom, nine meeting rooms and a general-purpose reception area. It’s available for concerts, exhibitions and live theatre productions as well as weddings and special events, such as Monster Jam shows, rodeos and basketball tournaments.
Catering is a big component of events at Florence Center, with an executive chef and full staff available for banquets, hors d’oeuvres and convention meals. They also provide portable carts with hot dogs, popcorn and sodas for sporting events.
