William P. Hobby Airport, known affectionately by locals as “Hobby,” is Houston’s secondary airport. Its proximity to downtown Houston and its smaller size make it an appealing option for travelers wanting a more laid-back experience without the bustle and chaos of a larger airport.
The five major airlines serving Hobby are American Airlines, Delta, JetBlue, Southwest and ViaAir, which offer mainly domestic flights. Southwest has begun offering non-stop international flights to select destinations in Mexico and Central America.

Getting there
