Home to the Spartan’s basketball team, the Greensboro Coliseum Complex is a historic sporting arena on the edge of Greensboro’s city centre. It was designed as a memorial to honour veterans and its 23,000 seating capacity made it one of the South’s largest sporting venues when it opened in 1959.
Time your visit to see the University of North Carolina’s Spartans in action or watch the Greensboro Swarm compete in the NBA G League. The Greensboro Coliseum Complex also features an amphitheatre and convention centre where temporary exhibitions and events are held throughout the year.
