Seven Mile National Park features a coastal Sand Track ideal for forest hiking and exploring Shoalhaven Heads. Stroll back along the beach or Gerroa Headland to spy seasonal migrating whales or head to the picnic area on Beach Road for beach cricket and a barbecue. You can also reel in your lunch by rock fishing in Black Head Reserve.

Dining in Gerroa features fresh seafood at charming restaurants, such as the Blue Swimmer. Try the local snapper filets as well as Australian lamb and a range of NSW wines. Families will love takeout from the Seven Mile Beach Kiosk or a fun outing to Zoobs Woodfired Pizza in Gerringong, just five minutes away.

Fortunately for oenophiles, the Shoalhaven Coast wine region is a short drive from Gerroa, featuring more than a dozen cellar doors within about 15 minutes’ drive from each other. You can also go wine tasting near Bolong Road, including at Two Figs Winery and Coolangatta Estate.
