Serving Central Luzon and the greater Manila area, Clark International Airport welcomes over 800,000 passengers a year to the Philippines. As the hub for Cebu Pacific, Philippines Airlines, and PAL Express, the airport is one of the most important in the country.

Passenger routes both domestic and international all run out of the recently expanded Terminal 1 at Clark International Airport. Domestic routes include Cebu, Caticlan, and Davao. International destinations include Seoul, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Dubai, Busan and Doha.

Partas and Philtranco both offer regular bus services from Clark International Airport to Manila. The ride between terminals is nearly three hours. There are also some bus routes to Luzon, though these include a stopover at Dau bus terminal.

Clark International Airport has been a commercial airport since 1996. Prior to that time, it was the largest overseas base of the United States Air Force. Its main terminal is named Diosdado Macapagal after a former president of the Philippines. The terminal was expanded in 2008 to increase Clark’s passenger capacity to five million, and there are many plans for future development of additional terminals and a high-speed railway connecting the airport to central Manila.
