Excellent ExperienceBrenda & Steve are some of the friendliest hosts you could ever wish to meet, accomodation was exceptional in every respect including the service provided. Its as though they have been your friends for years. Nothing was too much trouble. I was there on a walking weekend with my wife and friends, Brenda even gave use of her laptop for local weather forecast. Accomodation was 10 minute walk from Fort William centre with some excellent food on offer. We did arrive late on our journey and were able to text Brenda with the time for our breakfast which was very helpful. The only constructive thing I would say is that the very scenic breakfast area is normally locked, this would make an excellent lounge area to socialise before retiring to your room on an evening, however we would most definately stay again.

We couldn't fault Laurel BankApart from difficulty finding Laurel Bank (we didn't print of the very clear directions sent when we booked - just look out for the tallest tree in the road) we couldn't fault Laurel Bank. Excelent hosts, very helpful and welcoming. Only a short walk in to town, or a leisurely stroll along the bank of the Loch. We would definately stay here again.

Fantastic place to stay!We enjoyed our stay here very much. Our hosts did there very best to make sure we had a relaxing experience. The room was superb, modern and very spacious ( good quality furnishings and linen ). Breakfast was at a time suitable to us and food was excellent, with an accent on local dishes - we even had a menu with plenty of choice. This again was further enhanced by relaxing music played quietly which varied each day while overlooking views of the loch. We even had use of a gym and lesuire club. The house is in a good position on the main way into Fort William about 10 mins walk along the loch. This is one of the best B & B 's we have stayed in, nothing was too much effort!

If only all all B&B's were this good. Not a single complaint from me. Very friendly hosts, who helped make an enjoyable stay in Fort William even better.Use of the spa facility was a very welcome addition, great rooms with comfy beds, quality breakfast. A very good experience all round. I can't recommend laurel Bank highly enough.

Excellent Value for MoneyStayed for 5 nights. Weather was mixed and caught in heavy showers, Brenda and Stephen couldnt do enough for us from drying our clothes to driving us into town so we didnt get wet. Breakfasts were sumptious in fact too much. This was the best B & B we have ever stopped in and would recommend this to anyone.

stylish modern bed and breakfastStylish and contemporary rooms. Lovely breakfast with home baked bread. It's hidden behind some of the other B&B's but the elevated position means you get great views from the (first floor) breakfast room with huge panoramic windows. Stayed here after a 95 mile walk (the West Highland Way) and we were well looked after, recommended.

Lovely B&BLovely room, freshly decorated and nice view towards loch (although house is set back off the road - view through the trees). Lovely people, very un-intrusive so you don't feel like you are staying in someone's spare room! We stayed in the ground floor room and very close to main door - good for coming back late at night as you wouldn't disturb anyone else but you can hear everything when someone else comes in. Also very creaky floorboards in the room upstairs so you will be well aware when the other guests are walking around their room! Minor flaws in an otherwise excellent stay.

Highly recommendedWe thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay at the Laurel Bank, our superior en suite room was quiet, spacious and clean. The kingsize bed was very comfortable, the ensuite was clean with an electric shower and the view from the large window was delightful. Our hosts Steven & Brenda were very friendly and helpful, to the extent that Steven even gave us a lift to our party in Fort William to save us from getting a taxi!!!!Breakfast really was delicious with lovely touches such as home baked bread. Really enjoyed our stay.

We had a truly excellent time at Laurel Bank. The weather was exceptionally good and we managed to climb Ben Nevis. The massive breakfast got us up the hill, and the lovely shower and bed was welcome afterwards. A great location and very friendly owners. Will return many times hopefully. Didn't use the leisure facilities as it was very sunny both days so we were 'oot and aboot', but if the weather had been poor it would have been a nice alternative.

Fantastic Guest HouseAfter reading all the complimentary reviews we didn't really believe it could be so nice but it really was. Spotless, comfortable, roomy and the hosts Stephen and Brenda were lovely and couldn't have been more helpful. The breakfast and setting were both beautiful and we would definetly book again or advise any friends to do so.

Fort William tripWe spent 3 nights at Laurel Bank and after the first night had already decided to come back in the summer for another break. The room was absolutely lovely and our hosts, Brenda and Steven, were extremely helpful and friendly. We got home made shortbread, the breakfast was fantastic and plentiful and we were situated in a lovely area just 5 mins walk from the centre of Fort William. Our room had en-suite, gorgeous views of the loch along with a really comfy bed and lots of space. There is also free wi-fi and a free pass to the Ben Nevis leisure club which was a great perk with the pouring rain we experienced!! We could not fault this accomodation and will be booking again for the summer.
