Washington State Convention Center first opened its doors on June 18, 1988, after construction began in 1985. The centre has hosted a wide array of important events and conferences in its history including the International Conference on Robotics and Automation in 2015 and the World Trade Organisation Ministerial Conference in 1999, establishing it as one of the country’s finest convention centres.
