Considered the “holiday capital of Australia’s South Coast”, Vincentia is home to isolated and idyllic beaches, turquoise waters and gently sloping bushland. This charming coastal town includes the unspoiled Jervis Bay Marine Park and boasts some of the whitest sand in the world.
Things to do
Relax on one of Vincentia's many picturesque beaches, such as Blenheim, Orion or Greenfield Beach. Stroll along White Sands Walk, a natural trail connecting multiple beaches. Finish your trek at Hyams Beach, a small seaside village where you can pitch a tent and dig your toes into the powder-soft sand.
Aim for a hole-in-one at the Vincentia Golf Club. Set within natural bushland with views of Jervis Bay National Park and native wildlife hiding around every corner, the Vincentia Golf Club offers a unique experience for both sightseers and golf enthusiasts.
Experience the natural beauty of Jervis Bay National Park, home to a diverse array of scenery, from forests and wetlands to secluded white-sand beaches. Hike across a historic Aboriginal landscape that has remained untouched for thousands of years.
Witness bottlenose dolphins swimming in the crystal-clear depths of Jervis Bay, which has some of the cleanest water in the world. Whale or dolphin-watching tours in Jervis Bay provide an opportunity for the whole family to get up close and personal with these exotic sea creatures. Don’t miss the sheer sea cliffs and spectacular views of Vincentia’s South Coast Passage.
Vincentia is a three-hour drive from Sydney, with Canberra being slightly closer. Trains from Sydney arrive at Bomaderry Station, a short drive from Huskisson. Although each town along Jervis Bay is serviced by bus, renting a car is highly recommended, as public transportation is limited.
