Stroll along the Heritage-listed Tathra Wharf, considered the heart of the village. It’s a popular spot for whale watching and spotting fur seals and fairy penguins. Feeling adventurous? Join the snorkelers and scuba divers beneath the wharf. Explore Tathra Maritime Museum for local history and works by regional artisans, before enjoying a contemporary Australian lunch at Wharf Locavore.

Fishing from the pier is a favourite pastime, where you’re likely to spot swimmers training for the Tathra Wharf to Waves swimming routes from the wharf to Tathra Beach.
