    Good Property

Good property located a few kilometers from the center. Clean rooms and average service, nothing more. Council for very short stays. Friendly staff but not particularly efficient. Convenient parking. Excellent 4-star hotel in a convenient but not central location. Hearty breakfast, comfortable and spacious bed. Bathroom and clean room. Friendly staff even if it seems a little disoriented. Some rooms overlook the central area of the hotel (even if the windows are dark) and have no windows.

    Lovely Architecture

This hotel is well out of the center of town. You will need to take a taxi or public transportation to get to the hub of the city, particularly given the rather cold and potentially rainy weather. I thought that the room was small and that the hotel really was at most a place to stop for one night and sleep, but that is it. There is little character in the hotel, and while it is clean it is the sort of place that tours use for large groups of tourists. There is little to recommend it other than it is clean and reasonably comfortable. It felt a bit like a Holiday Inn. Beautiful hotel, lovely architecture. Nice rooms and bathrooms. Breakfast buffet was fantastic. Wished we stayed longer there. A little further from city. Wished bar opened later than 10 pm. But they did have a 24-hour kiosk to buy sandwiches and drinks, including beer and wine.

    Great For Family

Just returned from a visit to Iceland in early June. We stayed at this hotel in a family room for 3 nights and it was perfect. Two adults and two children age 7. I had booked another hotel for our last night in Reykjavik and it ended up not working out. I quickly looked to see if I could get a room on the ground again for that 3rd/last night and was able to on short notice. I had some trouble finding hotels that could accommodate all four of us in one room but this worked out perfectly. The breakfast buffet was also good. Nothing more I could ask for just continue giving guest the great service that you provide.
