One of the most popular ways to get around Luanda is by minibus, known locally as a Candongueiro. However, if you’d prefer your own private mode of transport, then there are plenty of taxi firms to ferry you around the city. Luanda International Airport is the main international gateway into the capital and operates many long-haul flights as far as Lisbon, Paris and Dubai.
