    Magnificent

The hotel concierge staff are very friendly and can speak English very well. There is not any problem at all for communication and even gave a simple gift upon check-in. Very nice gesture of them and a great way to start our stay. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable with a magnificent and spectacular view of Mt. Fuji from our dining table. Fantastic and convenient location, only a few walking distance of amazing restaurants in Roppongi, and also across from a beautiful holiday lights show. The breakfast in the hotel is very delicious with a lot of choices. I really had a wonderful time staying at Tokyo and this place together with the whole family. This place was really a great hotel to recommend when visiting Tokyo.

    Really High End

The Ritz in Tokyo definitely lives up to its name. It is a high end luxury hotel, with wonderful service, real attention to detail, and all the comforts one could want traveling far from home. It is Tokyo expensive, but as long as you’re prepared for the price tag, it’s a really pleasant experience. The rooms are on higher floors, affording spectacular views of the city both day and night. The staff is exceptionally attentive, and reasonably bi-lingual. The rooms are very well appointed, with all the comforts one would want in a luxury hotel. My only criticism and it’s a minor one is that the in room TV could offer more international fare. Other than that an extremely pleasant and luxurious experience. Nothing more I could ask for just continue giving guest the great service that you provide.

    Excellent and Lovely Spot!

We just visited with another couple for three nights as Platinum Members. Very little Platinum recognition, but perhaps a slightly better room. But reading reviews we didn't expect much of anything in this regard. The property is a magnificent building and the lobby is stunning. You almost feel as if you are having tea or a cocktail in the clouds. One day you are sitting next to business people, the next day you are sitting next to a table of Geishas. It's quite the atmosphere. The rooms are very nicely appointed and we had an amazing view of Tokyo Tower. We were welcomed with a nice note and bottle of sake, so I suppose that was some Platinum recognition. The location is great and within walking distance to many restaurants and shopping. Easy to pick up Ubers. The staff was amazingly responsive and the concierge planned our entire three days for us. It's difficult to walk through the hotel without someone asking if they can help you. The one negative, which is largely a facet of the city and culture, and our fault for not speaking Japanese, the hotel would give us written out cards for taxi and Uber drivers to tell them where we are going, but twice we were dropped in the completely wrong place, despite the hotel card and the hotel bellman instructing the driver. Tough to say who is at fault here, but it was consistently an issue and I would expect the hotel to do a better job of sending us out into the city. Don't miss the great lemon water in the lobby, it is very refreshing.
