    It Was Just Perfect!

Pera Palace Hotel has been beautifully renovated to its former glory and is just exquisite. The bed was super comfy, the room was quiet and tastefully decorated, the shower with its grey marble was elegant, and even the city view was enjoyable. We had a lovely big room with a great view over the Bosporus. It was too cold to sit on the little balcony, but it would be enjoyable in the spring or fall. The service was top-notch and very friendly and helpful. Felt perfectly safe, well taken care of and at home in the hotel. The location of the hotel in the Istiklal neighborhood means that there are plenty of small and reasonably priced restaurants and shops within a block or two, with plenty of great walking and shopping. I highly recommend this hotel to all travelers.

    Good Stay

This historical hotel is located in a very good area for walking and shopping and offer great views of the Golden Horn and Sultanahmet skyline from your balcony. Rooms are clean and although very small, they don't feel very cramped because of the light colours used in its decor. But if you, like me, like plenty of space, book a suite or look for somewhere else. The lobby was very beautifully restored and is pleasant to sit at. I highly recommend this hotel. Very professional staff.

    Unique historical top pick

It is like reliving a story a century old story in bustling Istanbul while looking for a delicious doner nearby or having a cup of Pumpkin Spice latte in Starbucks across the street. Pera Palace is a mixture of neoclassical and oriental styles hotel in the heart of the European part of Istanbul only 300m from Istiklal Pedestrian street-one of the busiest and touristy spots in the city. The rooms are cosy and have a very beautiful view on the city and the Golden Horn. I was hosting an event in the conference halls and it was probably one of the best decisions that I had as an event manager. The guests adored the venue, the story and the atmosphere. The staff was really helpful and wanted to make us feel comfortable with even putting small good day and positive vibes notes in the rooms, the hall was very well fitted and the whole event got an increased value because of the hotel. Definitely worth a visit. The piano man with 50 years old career playing in the lobby of the same hotel is just extra. Reception. My only remark was the reception. The guys are doing awesome job but often they are strangled with too many clients and cannot serve everyone. The hotel is in a very busy area of Istanbul with many people coming to the hotel just for a cup of tea and coffee and the staff needs some back up.
