    Contemporary Chic Luxury

The Hotel Bergs exemplifies what a small luxury hotel provides. The décor is modern, the services and comforts are old-school world class. We stayed two nights in a studio suite which was spacious with a king-size bed, sitting area, and a huge tub that provided the perfect antidote after a day sightseeing. Old Town with its stunning art nouveau district and a large open-air market is within walking distance. Breakfasts provide amble variety of high-quality food, and the gourmet restaurant is exceptional in service and selection. Nothing more I could ask for just continue giving the guest the great service that you provide.

    Still Lovely!

Everything about Hotel Bergs worked for us. My husband and i stayed in October and it was amazing. This is a lovely hotel and only ten minutes walk from the old town. Staff are very friendly and on the ball and breakfast was lovely. Rooms are modern and large and a very comfy bed. However, the one criticism I do have is the bathroom. Considering how modern and nice the room is the bathroom was a complete let down. Very dated, almost impossible to have a shower because of where the shower head was positioned, basically flood the bathroom or have your face 1 cm from the glass shower screen. They should have made the bathrooms bigger and lessen the space in the bedroom. Showers over baths is not really what I would expect from a top hotel. Breakfast was included, and it is really good European fare. Meats and bread, and breakfast on order, seriously good food, worth getting up. Would still highly recommend this hotel.
