    Verified Stay

Convenient for a host of local activities.

Lovely location, bedroom and view stunning. the receptionist was fabulous and went out of her way to assist us. However, unfortunately our stay was ruined by a poor breakfast. it is described as 'hearty' and I would call it meagre. There were no fresh patisserie or croissants, no freshly made eggs and to get a cappuccino you had to pay for the privilege. Furthermore, the breakfast staff were not especially friendly: I had to wait ages for a glass in order to get some orange juice which together with some fresh pineapple was the sum total of my breakfast. Supper is ok but you have to book what you want to eat by 5 pm and this is anything but relaxing. Why can't we choose from a menu when seated and ready to eat?? Bed sheets and towels were certainly laundered but did not smell fresh.
