I have stayed at this hotel several times and it has never been a disappointment. Rooms are very large, clean, great bedding and very quiet. Room service was fantastic. The pool and hot tub could have been a little cleaner.

The slice of Americana atmosphere. The night manager the day we checked in was not very nice. Overall the Little America Hotel in Flagstaff was great. It speaks to an earlier time of less hurried travel, family vacations and focus on the traveller.

Very nice hotel, clean and confortable, well equipped. Excellent choice.

Have stayed here before, and it is a well run, exceptionally clean and attentive operation. Structure is starting to show its age (probably 40+ years) but rooms are updated often and now have flat screen TVs, etc. Spacious rooms and bath, comfy beds. Quiet with plenty of parking. Restaurant is excellent, but not especially fast or cheap, so perhaps not for the hurried traveler. We will be back.

This is the second time I stayed at Little America. I love the clean, spacious rooms. Some kids were running in the hallway in the evening. I don't have kids and I was not too happy about it, but it was quiet after nine. No loud kids when I stayed there for the first time months ago. There is a forest and an one-mile trail in it right behind the hotel. It is great to have a stroll after hours of drive. Although the interstate is close by, you don't hear it in the room. I would go back anytime.

This was one of the nicest hotels we stayed at during our road trip from CA to TX. The lobby area is very rustic with a nice, big fireplace, and the hotel room was very adequate, with nice furniture and fluffy pillows. We'd definitely stay here again! The hotel is located right near the freeway, so it was really easy to find.

It was a fine place to stay for a couple of nights. Even though it was near the highway and train tracks, we heard little noise. It's more convenient to downtown than some of the others. The 1PM checkout allowed us to do a hike in the morning that we couldn't have done otherwise.

While we only stayed overnight, this hotel was very well appointed with large rooms, comfortable beds and all the amenities. The price we very fair. Outdoor facilities looked nice as well as a piece of private forest (though we didn't use them as time was tight). We had the breakfast buffet and while not the hugest selection it had ample choices for our family. The omelet / waffle bar was very good and once again pricing was very fair. I would say this hotel was one of the best bargains I've seen in recent times. My kids really loved this place, we will be back. Only downside was the place was packed, so parking (because we came in late) was somewhat distant from our room - though it appeared there was adequate parking for the hotel under normal conditions.

Although the French Provincial ivory furniture reminded me of the 1960's, the room was huge and spotless. There was a separate vanity area with sink outside the enormous bathroom, which had a sink also. Although we faced the interstate, the noise was minimal inside. My husband heard the train whistle once during the night, but it didn't bother me. Dinner in the restaurant was decently priced, but my dish was average, at best. If accessability is an issue, travelers should call before booking. We were in the 2nd unit and entry was only by stairs. No elevators to the 2nd floor. All staff were extremely pleasant and courteous.

We checked in at the last minute and were happy to get a large, clean room (although beds were the hardest we've slept in in a long time) in a lovely setting. Kinda different place - almost like a dormitory set down among these soothing woods. Walking the grounds each morning was a great way to start the day. We were disappointed that the inviting pool was not available, and that the hotel did not include a free continental breakfast like most do nowadays. The gift shop had great jewelry and clothing, quite different from the usual and affordable. The biggest complaint was that the hotel hadn't had its decor updated in at least 20 years. French provencial style furniture - yikes! Stained glass - remember that look from the disco era? We would return again and would ideally look forward to swimming and softer mattresses.

We stayed one night during an eight night trip to Arizona/Grand Canyon. The accommodations at Little America were our favorite of the trip.

We stayed here one night on our way from the Grand Canyon, back to Phoenix. The room was very spacious and clean....truly a full-service hotel. We could have easily stayed more nights if we didn't already have plans. Our breakfast in the restaurant was great, but the service was a little slow.

We spent the weekend in Flagstaff to celebrate our anniversary. I have always wanted to stay at Little America. The location is wonderful and the woods behind the hotel make it the perfect getaway. The hotel is in great shape and has an old fashioned charm. I have heard some complaints about all the trains going past but honestly it's not a huge deal. Take some earplugs if you are really that light of a sleeper! We spent Friday night in the hotel bar sampling all the martinis that were on special...yum yum. We only ate breakfast at the hotel and the buffet was pretty extensive and reasonably priced. My only complaint was that the hot tub was not hot enough to enjoy, but I guess when the nights are freezing, it's tough to maintain.

Little America was a good size room and the beds were comfortable. I liked that the hotel was tucked away in the woods and the entire place had beautiful lights. There was a kiddie playground and walking paths. Also two restaurants so we didn't have to leave.

We stayed at Little America as my Christmas and birthday gift. Check-in went smoothly, upgrading my room was extremely easy. The room was large, beautiful and comfortable. Dinner Christmas night in the cafe was a disaster. No one would answer the phone at room service and it took 5 calls to the front desk to convince someone to help us. We were told they were having phone issues but room service obviously was able to receive the call from the front desk since the message to call our room was received twice. We finally pleaded with someone to walk over to room service and ask them to call us. The only true customer service we found was in the lounge. Unfortunately some families feel the lounge is suitable for their children so we weren't able to relax very well. We will stay again due to the room, the lounge and the price. We just know in the future to not eat at the cafe or expect any assistance from the front desk.

This was a great hotel and location. Even though we were only passing through...we would like to come back to the area and we would plan to stay at Little America. We had previously stayed at another hotel in the area and it was the worst place imaginable. This hotel made up for our previous stay 100 X over! It was clean, large and fresh. Everthing was great...incuding the gift shop!
