Quick response to heater not working. Train noise. Pleasant hotel, with great staff and wonderful, complimentary breakfast. Train noise throughout the night, but we were provided with earplugs on our bed with a note about why the train noise was necessary (safety).

Nightmare Hotel - Near railway - Train Horns very loud all through the night. This Hotel needs to invest in double/triple glazing. Staff are courteous/helpfull but fighting an uphill battle as hotel is old and badly needs revamped. I put this down as one of worst hotels I have experienced and will now avoid Holiday Inns as a rule.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. It is not easy to get to, especially with the construction. Good port in a storm. Nothing special about it except the friendly staff and the continental breakfast.

My husband and I stayed here on a vacation to the grand canyon and had a great experience. Lots of wonderful things to do close by and the staff was very helpful with directions. Contential breakfast was good. Only woke up once to a train whistle. Would stay here again and take advantage of the shuttle from Phoenix airport and rental car service.

Had an awesome breakfast. The bathroom needed some cleaning attention. The hotel is located right off the interstate, which was less than 30 miles to Sedona and @ 1 1/2hr. to the Grand Canyon. This was the perfect place to stay because of the location. The best part of the stay was the breakfast! I recommended this hotel to our family and friends who plan on visiting the area soon.

This hotel was great in all areas, being a business traveler you also want to enjoy the extra things like work out room, pool and being able to walk to restaurants.

Confortable bed; quality linens; multiple choices for breakfast; indoor/outdoor pool. Room was a little small (narrow). Liked the hotel and amenities. Trains do travel nearby if that is a problem for some. Second morning, nearby road construction started at 6 am. Our room faced the back parking lot and the buses for group travelers started engines between 6 - 6:30 am and ran until they left at 8 am.

We planned a last minute trip to Flagstaff so our kids could play in the snow. Most places were booked, so we decided to stay here. BIG MISTAKE! We booked a room for 3 children and 2 adults. We knew there was only 2 queen beds in the room, but the reservation states you can get a rollaway bed. We checked in and were told that the room is too small for a rollaway bed. I asked how we can sleep 3 children and 2 adults in a room with 2 queen beds and the helpful associate suggested that someone sleep on the floor. We didn't pay $99/night to sleep on the floor. We requested extra blankets and pillows to help make the floor a little more comfortable and it took close to an hour to have these delivered to our room. We actually could have used more to make the beds more comfortable. They probably weren't any more comfortable than the floor.. This hotel boasts a complimentary hot breakfast. We ended up at IHOP. The 'hot" breakfast consisted of dry eggs, cereal and some pasteries in an overcrowded dining area. We will NEVER stay here again. Next time, we'll book our vacation further in advance and stay at the Little America FOR THE SAME PRICE!!!!!

Free breakfast. 200 yards from train tracks. I will never stay here again. The staff was very unconcerned with my situation and next time told me to ask for ear plugs.

"I am in a wheelchair, so it is hard to find accessible rooms. This one worked out well. When checking in, I asked about the trains and she said she would put me in a room on the opposite side of the train. While in the room, I never even heard it. This is a great place to stay. Very good breakfast also."

Stayed before. Liked a lot so chose again! No bathroom vents and bath towels too thick. Stayed here before. Liked it so I returned. Convenient to Grand Canyon and Sedona AZ. Excellent complimentary breakfast foods/drinks. Would stay again and recommend.

"We reserved a room a month prior to our arrival with refrigerator and microwave. When we showed up, we reminded them and they still put us in a room with neither. They couldn't correct it because nothing was available. No hot water in the morning. When complained, they said to wait 15 minutes. Never got better. Maid service did not replace towels or other amenities for our second night."

"We had a nice time staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Flagstaff. X at the front desk was wonderful our entire stay, the breakfast suited us just fine in the morning, the cleaning service was very efficient. We had a nice time and will look forward to going back soon."
