The hotel was grand, though a bit faded. Breakfast was excellent, relaxed and in an elegant room overlooking the private garden. Lunches and dinners were very good too, at reasonable prices. There is a fine, warm pool. Car parking is convenient but costs 7 Euros a day. The town centre is a short walk from the hotel, which is surrounded by mountains. Salzburg is only about 10 miles away.
