After staying two nights in Rome we moved to Westin Excelsior. Rooms were spacious with a classic style and bright lighting which I liked personally though the carpets needed deep cleaning. The quality of sleep was excellent with comfortable beds and pillows. The bathroom was spacious with two sinks, shower and bath tub which made us at ease thought the amenities were not enough as we had to order tooth brush, comb, and cotton buds which I consider as a standard at 5 star hotels plus soap and shampoo were not refilled for the second night. The only disappointment was the restaurant; there are many really good restaurants within walking distance, and any of those would be a better, and no more expensive, choice than eating in the hotel.
