    Amazing Memorable Stay

We stayed at the Sofitel when we got married in Queenstown and found them to be extremely friendly and accommodating from the moment we arrived. At check in we were asked if we were there for a special occasion and told them we were getting married the next day, at which point they offered us two free drinks in the bar. The day of our wedding a card signed by numerous members of staff and bottle of bubbles were sent to our room as congratulations and that evening upon returning and bumping into the bar staff closing up for the evening we were given another two glasses of congratulatory bubbles. Every member of staff surpassed my expectations and went above above and beyond to be extremely friendly and helpful. The room was lovely with a huge bath and big comfy bed and the location is perfect for exploring central Queenstown on foot. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel.

    Super Awesome!

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. The location is perfect for exploring Queenstown. We stayed in a superior room with a Juliet balcony overlooking the town. The room was clean, spacious, and sound proof. The hotel was able to securely store our bikes indoors. I wish I could remember the name of the concierge who was so helpful and personable. We hope management realizes how wonderful he treats their guests. There was a fire alarm at about 8:00 am in the morning during our stay when guests had to evacuate due to one guest setting off the sprinkler system on the upper floor. That night, each guest received a letter from the management explaining the situation and apologizing for the inconvenience. Guests were given Patagonia chocolates and a choice of several offers to make up for the inconvenience such as a discount on valet parking etc. It was handled very professionally. The fitness center could use an upgrade, but we would definitely stay here again if we return to Queenstown.

    One Sofitel

The location of the hotel is in the heart of Queenstown. The room itself is comfortable, modern and a big enough even the bathroom. The staff are amazing. The hotel is walking distance to every spot in town. It is easy driving access in and out. The breakfast was good. They served basic hotel buffet style. The restaurant is not fine dining but good. The price of the hotel was high and not worth it. I wish they are affordable and they are serving well on their breakfast.
