    Little Boutique

This Hotel made my trip to nice. Nice being completely full of tourist , this little boutique hotel is like a breath of fresh air. The hotel is located on one of the surrounding hills which makes the view one of my favorite memories. Also, because of the new tram its very easy to get to all the action. Really felt at home, the meals were tops with the fabulous backdrop of la Baie des Anges. I would go back and follow with interest the evolution of this somewhat unique hotel with the enthusiasm and good taste of it's owners. Breakfast next to the bougainvillea - what a way to start the day. Beware of the map on the tramway station showing where the 84 bus stop is.. not actually yet apart from that getting around was easy.

    Good Location!

The location of the hotel is a little removed from the city. For us, being newlyweds, this was perfect. It was quiet, while still being accessible to the city. We did not have a car and relied on public transportation. We are both very fit and actually walked into town the first day but the bus does stop right outside the hotel (literally right there!) and then you transfer easily to the train to get into the city. Being unfamiliar with the area, Valerie explained how to navigate the public transportation and gave suggestions of activities. She was so helpful! Many complain about missing the bus up to the hill. To be honest, on the way back to the hotel, we never took the bus from the train. It took us just as long to walk up the hill than it would to wait for the bus. It is a hill but it is not a crazy hike if you have reasonable shoes and like walking.
