    Nice Stay

This hotel has excellently trained people, its level of service is very good and the attitude of its staff wonderfully attentive and helpful. They managed to turn a sixteenth century convent into an architectural jewel, preserving its colonial style and respecting the Inca constructions that were found in the restoration phase. By the way, these remains of Inca buildings are on display and can be appreciated by making the tour that organizes the hotel daily at 6:00 pm for guests through the facilities. The tour is guided by Wendell, who explains the history of the convent in English and Spanish in a very pleasant way and dressed as a monk.

    Lovely Stay!

This is a very beautiful, unique luxury hotel, architecturally designed and decor fitted to blend in with Cusco’s historical city center. It was built on the site of a former 16th century convent, and some of the restored portions of the original building are now part of the Marriott. It is located a few blocks from Plaza de Armas (my favorite place to hang out in Cusco). My room was spacious, luxurious, and had a desk and coffee maker. The bed, bedding and pillows were very nice and allowed for a great night’s sleep. There is a beautiful, open-air courtyard the center of the hotel. Staff members are very friendly, attentive, helpful and provide impeccable, excellent service.

    Awesome Hotel

The hotel is located one block away from Plaza des Armas, on a street filled with restaurants, shops, museums, laundry, and mini markets. We loved the location. As members, we were able to check in early at 11:00 am. They honored my request for a superior third floor room size was adequate although the furniture is too big for the size of room. Bathroom has both tub and separate shower would have preferred one large shower. Toiletries, towels, and pod coffee maker were all nice although it was strange that they only gave one ceramic cup plus two paper cups. They gave two pods every day as well as two free bottles of water. Service is excellent staff at check in, the concierge desk, porters and servers at breakfast were all pleasant and willing to do anything for you. The tea service in the lobby is very nice although it would have been nicer to have some cookies too. Breakfast buffet was wonderful, great selection of foods and drinks to appease any appetite. There is a made to order omelet station. All the servers were very friendly and very attentive to all our needs. Breakfast starts at 5:30 am great for those leaving on early morning Tours. There is a DAILY $30 USD Resort fee and 10% service charge in addition to your rate so be prepared for a higher bill at checkout. I was not pleased that my confirmation never mentioned the rate in Peruvian Nuevo soles, only in USD. Yet you are charged in soles. There is a daily tour of the hotel at 6 pm. It would have been better if our monk guide could have spoken better English but it was interesting to see the original hotel ruins and the Inca walls and artifacts discovered during construction of the hotel.
