First of all the Hyatt is in a fabulous location, right across the street to St Sophia Cathedral & within a couple of minutes to St Michael's & walking distance to tourist district of Andrews mound on one side & Meydan on the other side making it very accessible to walking to the main attractions of the city. It's also a modern hotel offering all amenities to the traveler, both business & family, though I have to admit I saw more people on business for the duration of our stay. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms very usable with both a shower & bathtub & all amenities. We had all our breakfast & one dinner in Grill Asia, the breakfast is more than adequate. We were looking for traditional Ukrainian food, there are just a few on the menu, but cooked to very high standards. But most of all, the staff are delightful starting from the front desk to the ever smiling girls at the restaurant & the very helpful concierge! Not to forget the efficient housekeeping staff who worked behind the scenes to make our stay really comfortable. Thank you all. And if you do end up staying here, don't forget to go up to Bar 8 for some stunning views of the city. If you are visiting Kiev, I would highly recommend the Hyatt.
