From the beginning Hotel MONOPOL has had a good name respected by Bohemia from Katowice and by international community. Hotel constituted a prestigious place, enraptured with decoration, architecture and remarkable ambience. MONOPOL is the only one 5 star hotel in Katowice. It is located in a beautiful, 100 years old building, situated in the city center at the confluence of Dworcowa and Dyrekcyjna streets. Having been completely renovated and modernized it started its operation in September 2003. The property maintains the style and character of its original period of 1930s. There are 108 rooms, furnished mostly in art-deco style. The rooms are visibly bigger in MONOPOL than standard rooms in other hotels, what essentially increases the comfort of our Guests stay. With regards to construction works conducted in the city centre of Katowice we kindly inform that affecting from 01.03.2020 the Dworcowa street is closed. Access to the Monopol Hotel is possible from the Dyrekcyjna street, wher cars might be left up to 20 minutes in order to unpack the luggage and drive the car to the parking lot. According to Regulation of the Council of Ministers of 2 May 2020 SPA zone (swimming pool, gym, saunas) is closed until furhter notice.
