Carlsbad is overall overpriced, but the only wprth a penny in this place was the pancake machine. Booked 2 non smoking rooms and had to ask to change because the smell was so potent. Tried 2 others rooms that aslo smelled of weed and smoking. New room, that only smelled a bit less, had 2 old beds, both with holes in mattress. Staff in afternoon was rude but the evening receptionist was nicer.
