    State Of The Art Resort

This hotel is a state of the art. Complete with all the amenities you need. The property is absolutely gorgeous and pristine. Has great restaurants and superb food choices! Best gambling tables because everything is sparkling new. The infinity pools are amazing with an aquarium view from one of the pools like I've never seen before. The rooms are also jaw-dropping and spotlessly clean. It’s only a few minutes away to the airport and not far from downtown either. All the staffs are very very friendly, hospitable and knowledgeable of the property and island. It’s more than a 5-star rating!

    Fabulous Resort

The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Check-in was great. The room was outstanding. This might have been the best bathroom in a hotel (double sinks, stall shower with separate handheld and overhead showers with plenty of hot water, and a separate bathtub). The room had a foot balcony. While we faced the front of the property which was not the best, we at least had a great view of the lakes with the dancing fountains that were amazing. The resort includes 6 pools. We went to the main pool that huge, heated, and had a large spa at one end. The restaurants we tried were good. We especially enjoyed going to the lounge at night to listen to live music. This hotel is gorgeous, in a great location and the people are friendly. We had a group of 12 and it was surprising that they weren't set up to accommodate us in terms of food service. Either we couldn't sit together or we could and it took forever to get a drink order taken let alone served. Food was tasty, but slow especially in 3 Tides. I say smaller groups would fare best.

    So Wonderful!

Stayed at the Baha Mar for 5 nights. This resort is beautiful. It is very expensive to eat and drink here. The beach is groomed daily, the views from the hotel are amazing and the pools are great. We rented a car for our stay and really didn't need it, but we do not like depending on other people and we like to be on our own time. Check in was a breeze, believe it or not, they explain all of your charges up front. If you like to drink and don't want to pay the outrageous prices, do what we did. Bring your own alcohol. We bought two bottles of rum in the Atlanta airport and went to a grocery store when we landed to get juice to mix. We brought Yeti cups, and the hotel has ice machines. Also, you can go to one of the MANY liquor stores and buy alcohol at relatively normal prices. For example, 1 beer on property is $7.50, go to the liquor store and get three of the same beers for $6. The beauty of it is, you wont be the only person walking around with a Yeti, and nobody at the hotel cares. If you gamble, you get free drinks while playing. Food on site and pretty much anywhere off site is going to cost you, plain and simple. The food trucks on the beach are relatively cheap, but they all have the 15% and 7.5% VAT added, so it adds up quickly. Moral of story, save your money before you go. Hit the beach and have a great time. If you can afford it, you will absolutely love this place.
