    Wonderful Hotel

We stayed at the Europark for 4 nights in the penthouse with the balcony looking over Sagrada Família. I thought the hotel was excellent value for money compared to hotels in the UK. When booking I advised that I had to eat gluten free and every day at breakfast gluten free cakes and a baguette were placed on our table. I did enquire about room service and they didn’t have anything gluten free but there is a lot of choice for ‘muggles’ and not expensive either. The room has a mini bar with water, fizzy drinks, cava, beer, spirits, crisps and chocolate which is not expensive compared to other hotels I have stayed in and is replenished daily. The first day we came back to the room and a bottle of iced cava had been left in there and another day a voucher for a free drink. My daughter is vegan and didn’t find it that easy at breakfast time but there are so many little shops and cafes serving vegan food close by it wasn’t really a problem. We didn’t use the hotel pool so cannot comment on that but I never saw anyone else in it either so would not be busy if you wanted to use it. There is also a gym and massage room. The bathroom was absolutely huge with two sinks and the shower was great - really powerful. There were robes and slippers to use during your stay. The only thing I would mention if you are planning to stay in the penthouse is that there is a lot of noise from the lift. It didn’t bother us or stop us sleeping but if that sort of thing annoys you - then probably better to stay in another room.
