The staff are so friendly and accommodating. You'll remember this place for the staff. They'll teach you all about coconuts, how to husk and show you how to drink them, and no charge. They'll guide you there and tell you all about it while drinking kava with you. Our driver provided by the resort even helped us find and buy a Digicel t shirt because we loved the branding. Just be friendly and treat them to the experience with you to thank them for the above and beyond service. Downing a few bowls of kava with Johnny and Lorelle alongside friends will be a memory I'll never forget. And that's because you'll soon learn the people of Vanuatu are the happiest most kind folks you'll ever meet. But do not count on the WiFi. You'll most likely be too busy seeing the island, and that's the way it should be, but if you're planning on doing on any work, count that out. Also swimming is hard around the reef but not impossible. That's best saved for the snorkel tours around other reefs. Food costs are reasonable for a resort. Want some perspective? We dropped by the five star Warwick nearby and the food was terrible despite it being four times as expensive. Simply put, Erakor is an amazing value.
