The hotel is very well located in the city center at Rudaki Avenue. It has a very beautiful Tajik-style interior design, breakfast room facing a garden on one side. Staff was extremely kind, attentive and always very helpful. There is a breakfast buffet with wide selection of food, both cold and warm, also salads and healthy muesli/smoothies/juices. They don't have all the restaurants functional at all times The roof top restaurant was not operational and the main restaurant was quite nice. Service was exceptional. But, the food selection decent at best. Whoever the pastry chef is deserves to be appreciated. The dessert section killed me. It was too good and I couldn't resist a thing. WiFi worked very well, free access press reader application was also enjoyable. During my stay I witnessed several business events organized in the hotel and also art exhibitions are taking place in the hotel. I would definitely recommend Serena.
