Check in was a tad drawn out, but the gentleman performing the task was quite jovial and shared all sorts of local information with us while completing the task. We were given a room on the 4th floor, right opposite the lifts / elevators and overlooking one of the streets (hotel's on a corner), and it was remarkably quiet. The double glazed windows blocked out 95% of the outside noise. Equally, despite being so close the lifts / elevators, we were not disturbed at all by other guests coming and going. The room itself was an adequate size, good closet space, ample room to keep the bags out of the way, plenty of power points and it was squeaky clean. The bathroom was quite large for a European hotel, and it was also squeaky clean, although it is here where we found our only issue with the stay. The partition on the shower was not long enough, so you tended to fling water all over the bathroom (felt sorry for the person cleaning it!), and water in both the shower and the bidet drained WAY too slowly. But they were the only negatives. Greta hotel, great location, great value and we would happily stay there again when in Milan.
