From the outside barely recognizable as a hotel, but inside pleasantly modern designed, everything was clear and clean and our room is just acceptable from the volume of space. The bathroom is relatively spacious and equipped with shelves. The TV works, although no German program can be found in the selection list. The young lady at the front desk is friendly and helpful and also gives tips on free parking; the hotel does not have its own parking. It is not understandable that DerTour sells car tours while booking hotels that do not have parking. The minibar is well stocked, but at the Icelandic prices waiver is announced. The high prices also applies to the room, but that's just customary in the country. Best location of a room is away from the street. But then breakfast came in the morning. There was no fried eggs, no cold meats, but for each person 3 1/4 hard-boiled egg, 1 1/2 slices of Scheibletten cheese and 2 x salmon. Juices were freshly made smoothies by the hotel staff plus water and a cup of coffee.
