Amba Taipei Ximending Hotel

Room was expansive and divided into two, with one portion taken up by two large comfortable beds and a TV fixed onto the wall. The other portion had the separate shower and toilet facilities as well as a sink, mini fridge and all the other amenities one finds in a decent hotel. It was a charming experience. The area is a few blocks from the center of Ximen and a simple 10-minute walk to the MRT station. Service was exceptionally great. The staff were neighborly and accommodating. My reservation included the delicious and very complete breakfast with western and Taiwanese items which was great.

I was early to arrive in this hotel. I’m glad that the receptionist let me check in early. They are so nice and very accommodating. Room was very good, it has a good ambiance in it. Bed is so comfortable and pillows were soft. Bathroom is great it’s a little bit of spacious and it is well cleaned and well maintained. Breakfast buffet is average, not that many food to choose from but the taste is great. The location of this hotel is accessible to MRT station, and it is surrounded by a lot of shops, shopping mall, pub. It’s great if you want a night life, I highly recommended it. Worth the value.

It is right in the famous Ximending street. You can walk and be entertained with shops, restaurant and food carts when u stepped out. Very good location. The attitude of Check-in service staff was excellent. Very polite and patience. The room is big enough. The shower is good condition. TV connected to you tube which can facilitate many entertainment. Free laundry service can be done by self. The youthful and trendy vibe of the neighborhood gives you the city energy found in mega metropolis around the world. The bar service was not so professional in opening a bottle of wine. They should show us the bottle of wine before open it.
