Also known as El Camino de Santiago, the Way of St. James is an ancient pilgrimage route from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port in France to Santiago de Compostela in Spain. It typically takes around four weeks to hike and has been added to the UNESCO World Heritage list for its cultural significance.

Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port is around one hour’s drive from Bayonne and is connected by regular trains to the Gare de Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port. It’s three hours’ drive from Toulouse and Toulouse-Blagnac Airport.
