Visit the Wailua River, the largest river in Hawaii, which feeds the Opaekaa and Wailua waterfalls. If hiking is one of your passions, there are countless trails to explore all across the island. You can't miss one of Kauai's best photo-ops, the Na Pali Shore, with its 14-mile stretch of pristine shoreline, 2,700 foot cliffs and clear coral waters you'll never want to leave. The resort offers comfortable one- and two- bedroom resort suites that can accommodate four to six people and measure in the range of 628 - 909 square feet. All suites feature a queen bed in the master bedroom plus a full kitchen and dining area. One-bedroom suites include a sofa bed and the two-bedroom queen sleeper sofa in the living area. Kapaa Beach Park is fringed by a ribbon of honey-coloured sand. The park features several beaches, including Fuji Beach. An offshore reef creates a natural lagoon with shallow, crystalline water. At the northern end of the park is a grassy foreshore and breezy picnic area.

The paved Ke Ala Hele Makalae trail stretches along the Royal Coconut Coast and takes in some of the island’s most beautiful scenery. Walk sections of the trail on foot or rent a bike and enjoy a scenic ride.

Kapaa is dotted with food trucks where you can try local island flavours. Fill up on fresh fish tacos, pulled-pork burgers and thin-crust pizza.
