easy to find location with a pleasant location. greeted by friendly reception who made you feel welcome. the room was spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. so pleased that I chose to stay at the Pavilion.
i have stayed here before and enjoyed it but my service at the restaurant left much to be desired this time. I completed a feedback survey to the hotel about my negative experience and didn't hear one word back. If my needs as a regular customer are so unimportant then I will not return.
Pavilion on Northbourne is located on the main strip heading towards Canberra. Enjoyed a pleasant stay. The room was comfortable and clean. Service was excellent and friend. It has secure parking as on street parking close by is hard to find and far away. Both dinner and breakfast was good but not exceptional. Canberra is currently building a tramline along Northbourne Ave, thus traffic is slow and confusing. To walk to the city centre is about half an hour and there are no nearby shops, restaurants or attractions nearby the hotel.
